If you are like me, mid afternoon you start craving something crunchy and salty to snack on. Usually I reach for a snack like chips or Ritz crackers, something along those lines. I think when I get tired I feel like I have to snack to pep myself up. Sometimes I will have fruit, but mostly my snacks are really not too healthy for me. I was recently able to sample some Cheese Thinables made by the FiberGourmet. These crackers are about the size of Cheez-Its and have a very similar flavor, but are much healthier in that they they have only 60 calories, a whopping 11 grams of fiber, 7 grams of net carbohydrates and are considerably less salty. Cheese Thinables have a super fresh taste and a great crunch with just a very light coating of salt. In comparison, Cheez-Its have 140 calories in a 28 gram serving, less than 1 gram of fiber and 17 net carbohydrates. I really appreciate a product that contains 40-50% fiber that doesn’t taste like cardboard! My body really needs extra fiber to work correctly.
FiberGourmet produces a variety of crackers products, as well as several types of high fiber regular and light pasta. Why wouldn’t you want to eat something that tastes great, satisfies your cravings and is also healthy for you? When you look over the ingredients in Thinables, you actually recognize the names and do not see all those chemical names that have you wondering what you are really eating. I think if you try these Cheese Thinable crackers you will taste the freshness – which is why I’d like to offer all of you two FREE samples each!!!
