I love candles, especially if they have a scent that takes me back to a place I’ve visited, such as Hawaii or the Caribbean! This coconut scented candle by Wiki Wiki has a pleasant coconut scent and is made of 100% natural soy wax, as well as natural and essential oils.
The unique thing about this candle is that the wax is actually poured into a real coconut shell and comes packaged with both halves, so you actually have 2 candles.
Unfortunately, I was not real impressed with the scent of the candle after lighting it. It smelled nice and fragrant at first, and then after about 15 minutes I could smell nothing at all. I used it in my family room, which is about 350 square feet. The other downside was that the oil actually comes through the porous shell, making it necessary to use a glass or ceramic dish underneath. I also think the price of $24.99 is quite high for this product.
On the plus side, the coconut scented candle burned very clean with very little smoke or soot, and did seem to burn for approximately 11 hours. It also makes a good air freshener for a bathroom or other small room. These candles would make great table decorations for a luau type party!
You can find Wiki Wiki Coconut Scented Candle in Real Coconut Shell on Amazon.com. This candle also comes in other scents such as plumeria, lemongrass and passionfruit.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
