We were fortunate enough to receive a hand-me-down Maxi-Cosi car seat from a family member. This saved us so much money when it was time to transition from the infant car seat. The car seat was completely clean but I wanted to “doll” it up a bit. When I was searching around for sophisticated looking car seat covers I came across the Baby Bella Maya website. The Baby Bella Maya toddler car seat cover was extremely easy to install. I didn’t have to undo any straps which was so nice! I’m not the best at taking car seats apart. In fact, I even had my husband take the car seat out of the car because I figured I was going to have to undo something.
The cover slips right over the car seat and holds on tight with elastic. The straps simply pull through a slit in the fabric that you can button shut. The bottom buckle slips through a little hole in the bottom. I love that you can still easily access the adjustment strap but lifting the Velcro tab (see picture above under the heart patch). It even comes with matching strap pads which are also extremely easy to put on.
I am so pleased with the way the Baby Bella Maya car seat cover fits on our Maxi-Cosi. It completely covers the existing fabric. I also love the cute brown trim at the top of the cover. It adds a little bit more “fanciness.”
I also love the fact that I can simply machine wash the car seat cover when Charlotte gets it dirty.
I definitely recommend the Baby Bella Maya car seat covers to anyone who wants to jazz up their car seat and ESPECIALLY if you have a messy toddler!
