Nature’s Bakery Fig Bars | Davidson’s Rooibos Spiced Chai Tea
Written by: Cristen
If you’re like me, you just have those days where you don’t want to go outside with your kid(s) to play because it’s too hot or too cold, or you just really don’t feel like getting dirty. For these days, I’m always trying to find something to do inside that’s different and fun for my little girl. Our latest indoor play time involved some Nature’s Bakery Fig Bars, Davidson’s Chai Tea, my wedding china and some vintage plates. You guessed it, we had a real tea party.
I just had to have all of this beautiful china when I registered for my wedding gifts years ago but now I find myself never using it! I decided to treat my little one to a fancy Tiny Tea Party by using some of my wedding china. Risky, I know, but I figured, ‘why not?’ Well, I couldn’t be happier with how careful my little two year old was with her tea cup.
I brewed us up some caffeine-free Davidson’s Chai Organic Tea. I brewed the tea a little on the light side so that it wouldn’t be too strong tasting for my daughter and she absolutely loved it. We even gave some tea to her lions, pony and babies.
What’s a tea party without dessert?
As you can see in the photo below, our dog, Laila, just couldn’t be further than a few inches away from the Nature’s Bakery Fig Bars. Luckily we were able to gobble them up fast enough so she couldn’t snag any.
Our family just loves all of the all natural Nature’s Bakery Fig Bars. My husband had actually brought some home after one of his cycling races for us to try a few months ago and we fell in love with them. We loved them so much that we went out and bought 3 more boxes. Some of our favorite flavors are the whole wheat blueberry and the whole wheat raspberry. Fig bars are the perfect healthy and nutritious snack for the whole family and are the perfect dessert for a tiny tea party.
Disclosure: I received an assortment of bars from Nature’s Bakery and a package of Chai from Davidson’s Tea to facilitate my review. My opinion is honest and my own and not influenced by compensation.
