What clothing is best for semi-formal or formal dining nights on a cruise ship?
- We prefer dresses made of Chiffon. Chiffon is not only lightweight and movable, but stays pretty much wrinkle-free in a suitcase. Chiffon is a popular fabric for semi-formal and formal dresses so you’ll have plenty to choose from when shopping around.
We suggest this Chiffon cocktail dress ($59.99 – WinkShapewear.com). This color block A-line dress has a wonderful waste tie to help create a slimming look. The tapered cut of the top of the dress also creates a super slimming effect. Add a simple sweater and a pair of strappy heels or wedges to complete the look. (This dress comes in sizes S, M and L).
How do we know that this dress is perfect for packing? We tested it out! This dress arrived all scrunched up in a package and when we pulled it out… amazingly, no wrinkles. We shoved the dress back into the small plastic bag it came in and left it for a few weeks…and still no wrinkles. You can see for yourself in the images above.
