FlipStir Puzzles by Enlivenze
Remember puzzle games like Rubik’s Cube? As a child we used to take it on long car trips to keep us entertained (and I’m sure to keep us quiet if you asked my parents). It was easy to carry and didn’t have any pieces to lose. I never did solve that thing!

Now there is a new toy company out of the Twin Cities called Enlivenze and they have created a new type of 3D puzzle that is encapsulated in a tube, thus no pieces to lose! It’s called “FlipStir” and it is really quite challenging. I have yet to finish it, while my husband completed it his first time in 12 minutes! Today I sent these puzzles on a road trip with my friend’s 10 year old twins. They finished both of them, but finished the level 1 puzzle quickly.
As you can see by the photos, there are 2 versions of the FlipStir right now, Level 1 – Rainbow Pencils, Level 2 – Statue of Liberty, with 2 new versions coming soon! The FlipStir can be enjoyed by kids and adults alike and is great to take along in a car or airplane! FlipStir has very simple instructions – just Shake.Stir.Solve!
FlipStir is a great way to get kids thinking and also improve their manual dexterity. It’s small enough to fit in a tote bag or backpack and has no removable parts. Plus it’s made in the USA!
