When it comes to taking care of your home and family, you only want the best products.  But, let’s face it, not all clean and natural products are created equally.  Unfortunately, sometimes the best products out there come with a not-so-nice price tag.  Everyone is slapping healthy looking labels on their products these days which can be quite confusing for the consumer and quite damaging on the pocket-book.  To help us out, Target has carefully selected a handful of brands that are making things better for you (and your pocket-book), your family and the place we all call home.

Amongst these 16 Made to Matter brands at Target is one of my family’s favorites, Hyland’s.  Hyland’s has been a trusted family brand since 1903 and couldn’t be more excited to join the Made to Matter collection at Target.  Hyland’s offers homeopathic medicines that deliver safe, natural and effective relief for every stage of life from teething on up.  Their products are made from the highest quality natural ingredients and follow the strictest standards of preparation and have since the beginning.

1903- Founded Standard Homeopathic Pharmacy in Los Angeles, CA

1910 – George H. Hyland purchases the pharmacy and starts Standard Homeopathic Company

1923 – Cecil Craig joins the organization

1925 – Earliest found mention of Hyland’s Teething Tablets in company product catalogs

1940 – Cecil Craig develops Hyland’s Pink Aspirin for Children for his daughter, Marion

1947 – Manufacturing outgrows basement

1953 – Retail store moves to corner of 8th and Olive

1987 – J.P. Bornemna, PhD, Chariman and CEO joins the company

2008 – Launch of Hyland’s Cold ‘n Cough 4 Kids and Hyland’s Nighttime Cold ‘n Cough 4 Kids

2009 – Hylands moves it corporate headquarters to Carson, CA

My families health and well-being is important to me but I don’t always have time to search for the best products.  Now, thanks to Target and their handpicked collection of Made to Matter brands, we can all breathe a little easier knowing half of the work has already been done for us.  All that’s left to do is, well, shop!
