My daughter just turned the big THREE last month and rather than go all out this year, we chose to do a smaller pizza parlor get-together followed by a pool party. She had been talking and talking about having an Olaf pool party but I really didn’t want to do much decorating at the house. So, for a compromise, we did an Olaf Pizza party and a Wonka pool party in honor of the new Wonka Peel-A-Pops.
There are a few essentials that you MUST have when throwing a Wonka party:
1) Purple and Yellow Balloons – deck the house out with helium-filled purple and yellow balloons to create a Wonka-taneous atmosphere.
2) Golden Tickets – What’s a Wonka party without golden tickets? Give each guest a golden ticket in their goodie bag or use the golden tickets as the party invitations.
3) Sweets – Obviously, Wonka is famous for their candy but have you tried their new Wonka Peel-a-Pops? The banana flavored Peel-a-Pops were by far the most popular at our party. It truly feels like you are peeling and eating a banana, but better. Each pop is just 70 calories and so much fun to eat.
The outside of the Wonka Peel-a-Pops remind me of a frozen gummy bear. After about a minute, they easily peel just like a banana and are completely edible. Peel away the outer layer to reveal the creamy vanilla ice cream in the middle.
Also, try creating a Wonka candy bar with all of the scrumdiddlyumptious Wonka candies you can find.
4) Party Favors – Stuff goodie bags with Wonka goodies like their oh-so-tasty lip balms and Laffy Taffy.
Disclosure: I received free product samples to facilitate my review. Any opinion expressed in this article is based on my experience with the brand/product.
We can’t keep all of this Wonka goodness for ourselves so we’re giving away five free boxes of Wonka Peel-a-Pops to one lucky fan! Enter to win using the Rafflecopter form below. We will choose our winner after 8/26/14. Good luck!
