“Good For You” Mommy Mocktails

During my pregnancy, I had a terrible craving for fizzy drinks so I would allow myself to have one soda per day.  I was sick of water so I figured one soda per day wouldn’t hurt, right?  Well, I would end up feeling sick because of the sugar and regretted that sugary drink an hour later.  But I still had that craving…
On a hunt for my “fizzy drink” craving solution, I decided to give Bump water a try.  Bump is a beverage with 100% of the recommended daily amounts of Vitamin A, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Calcium, Niacin, Biotin, Zinc, Magnesium that are found in prenatal vitamins. With Bump, Moms-to-be can indulge in refreshing cool drinks, all while getting their dose of the vitamins needed for their little one!
My favorite of the two Bump waters I tried was the lemonade.  The cranberry ginger wasn’t sweet enough for me but would be great incorporated into some mommy mocktails.  Check out some fun mocktail recipes below:
Cherry Lemonade Cool-aid 

Select 5 -6 ripe cherries, remove the seeds and in a tall glass give them a little smash with a muddler or end of a cooking spoon (tough day? then keep on smashing!) Top with Bump Water Lemonade Sparkle
Strawberry Watermelon Bump Cooler 

In a blender, combine three frozen strawberries + ½ cup of summer ripe watermelon + ¼ cup of Bump Water Lemonade Sparkle. Pour into a glass and top with Lemonade Sparkle
