When you’re expecting a new baby, laundry detergent is probably not a product that comes to mind when thinking of must-have baby items. Baby skin is so sensitive, as I learned when I had my first daughter. She literally had skin breakouts from people holding her because of the laundry detergents and perfumes they used.
Now that baby Kendall has arrived, we’ve switched our family’s dishwasher detergent to more of a non-irritating formula from Vaska. We’ve actually used the Vaska Lavender laundry detergent before and were very pleased with it. The scent is so nice and it washes our clothes well. Vaska now has baby laundry detergent tablets that are free of enzymes and phosphates, leave no residue behind and contains no artificial dyes or thickeners that are often found in other detergents.
These scent-free laundry tablets have been working great on our spit-up stained baby laundry and we haven’t noticed any skin irritations on our sweet baby girl. I love the convenience of being able to toss one simple little tablet into my HE washing machine and the peace of mind I have knowing that it’s safer for my baby. Plus, if I am washing a smaller load, I can simply break a tablet in half and toss half in at a time.
You can purchase Vaska products online on Amazon.com, Soap.com and Abe’s Market or purchase in person at your local Costco and Babies R Us.
