I used about 1/2 a teaspoon of Enzo Matcha powder in an 8 ounce mug of boiling water. To that I added quite a bit of vanilla coffee creamer (about 3 tablespoons, I like my latte extra sweet). This combo was pretty good, but I should have added just a little less Matcha powder as the green tea taste was a little strong.
Have you ever tried a green tea latte in place of that boring cup of coffee? Green tea latte has such a different refreshing flavor, with great antioxidant protection. Matcha green tea powder is high in chlorophyll, which removes detoxifies your body. With Enzo 100% Organic Matcha you can have coffee shop taste at home and save a lot of money! The difference from Matcha powder and brewed green tea is that Matcha uses the whole leaf to provide you more benefit.
If you make smoothies at home, add some Enzo Matcha powder for an added kick. In my recipe below, I added 1/2 teaspoon to 1 cup of ice, 1/4 cup vanilla coffee creamer, 1/2 cup Greek yogurt and 1/4 strawberry puree. This made the perfect smoothie and the yogurt helped keep me full for a few hours. I think Enzo Matcha will be awesome in homemade ice cream this summer!
On Amazon.com the Enzo Matcha powder is $21.99 for 4 ounces, which seems high for 4 ounces, but remember you only need about 1/2 a teaspoon in recipes as it is very strong. Four ounces should last you a very long time.
