This bag has very sturdy handles and a nook or cranny for everything for baby, myself and my three-year old. I can carry a water bottle, a baby bottle, my wallet, a nursing cover, a burp cloth, a large supply of diapers, an entire package of wipes, snacks and spare clothes. There’s also plenty of room for my smaller items like sunglasses, keys, lipstick, hand lotion, loose change, etc. I’m seriously amazed at how much this bag holds.
An important feature to look for in a diaper bag is how it functions when being placed on the ground. For me, if a diaper bag flops over when placed on the ground, that’s no good. I need my bag to stand up so my “junk” doesn’t fall out. The Lassig Green Label Neckline Diaper Bag bag holds up very well on its own, even when it’s not packed full.
Another feature that is important to me is a top zipper. I like to be able to zip my diaper bag shut, especially when I’m shopping. I typically set my diaper bag in the cart and if it’s wide open for the world to see, it’s also wide open for a thief to help himself/herself. This bag has a great zipper that is very easy to use.
I really love the color contrast of the Taupe model I have. The teal and taupe color work well for almost every outfit and hide stains really well. The material seems to repel liquids well, too.
Tip: Be very careful that you don’t hit the metal pieces located on the side of the diaper bag on your car. Because the bag is larger than most, it’s very easy to bump it against things like a car or wall.
The four large bonus pockets on the outside of the bag are a huge help, especially in the car. I typically keep my phone in one pocket, wallet in another (only in the car), wipes and diapers in the others. If I go through a drive-thru, I can easily access my wallet. Or, if that drive-thru forgot to give us napkins I can easily access my wipes. It’s just an added bonus that many diaper bags are lacking.
