Mom's Week Sampler Event Timeline – Mark Your Calendars
This is part of a sponsored event for Sampler and the below listed brands. As always, all opinions are my own.
If you’ve been following us since the beginning, you may remember some of the Sampler events we’ve done in previous years on our other blog, The Naptime Reviewer. Remember the Ultimate Online Baby Shower events? These were super fun, fast-paced Sampler events that allowed you to try to win tons of great prizes and send samples to your friends from some amazing brands; all for FREE.
This year, The Bucket List Mom has teamed up with Sampler and nine other influencers to reward all the amazing moms out there. This is a time to spoil yourself and toot your own horns, ladies!
Roll your sleeves up, put your hair in a messy bun and mark your calendars for the following timeline of events.
Your To-Do List Before Mom’s Week (May 2nd – 6th)
To get a head start on the events, make sure you visit our sponsors and participating influencers on Facebook. I made it easy for you to do — just visit my Facebook post here (or see below) to quickly visit each of our sponsors and influencers.. This is, of course, not required to participate in the events, but will certainly give you an advantage as far as seeing their posts first. Consider this being one step ahead.
Another really important step is to make sure that you turn on post notifications for our brands and influencers. This is essential for making sure you don’t miss the events coming up next week.
To turn on post notifications click the LIKED button on each brand or influencer’s Facebook page. In that dropdown menu, make sure SEE FIRST and ALL ON are checked. That’s it!
Must Do –> RSVP to Win
If you plan on participating in the Mom’s Week flash giveaways or sampler events, you must RSVP here or click the banner above. Just for RSVP’ing, you will be entered to win a gift basket full of goodies from our fabulous sponsors. This process gives you a head start for the sampler events so that you have a minimal amount of work to do once the events begin — plus it’s how the sponsors know where to send your free gifts.
Tip: Team Up With a Buddy
From personal experience, I can tell you that teaming up with a friend for these Sampler events is the way to go. Once a brand begins their individual product sampling event, the samples are gone in about a minute. Your friend can send you a product and you can send her a product simultaneously once the sampling begins.
Wish For Your Favorite Products
From now until the events begin, you have the ability to submit a hint to your friends on social media for each brand. List below each product photo below, I have posted the link to each brand’s “wish for it” page.
Participating Brands
I have done a little homework for you and sacrificed my time (ha!) to test out some of the products from our sponsors. This is hardly a sacrifice because these brands and products are awesome, but I wanted to give you a heads-up as far as what kind of goodies you will have the opportunities to try to win or give away to your friends.
My new Danskin Now Women’s Active Fitspiration Graphic Racerback Tank fits in well with my mommy wardrobe. Between preschool drop-offs/pick-ups, diaper changes, grocery shopping, meal prep and squeezing in a workout, I live in activewear. What I love about this super cute “It’s Go Time” tank is that it’s under $5 at Walmart.com. They also sell them in bundles of two for $9.50.
You may have noticed friends’ social media posts with inspirational sayings hanging out of their tea cups — well, this is that tea! Buddha Teas offers lots of unique flavors of teas including their Organic Turmeric Ginger Tea which has virtually no caffeine. This exotic blend of flavors is great when you have an upset stomach or after dinner.
I’ve been a little hooked on my Perfect Bars this week. I’m particularly loving the Almond Butter and Peanut Butter flavors. They are loaded with protein and you can really taste each ingredient with each bite. The Perfect Bars are the freshest nutrition bars ever created and require refrigeration since they don’t contain preservatives.
Where to Buy: Natural, specialty and conventional retailers, including Whole Foods, Kroger, Safeway, Costco and Sprouts Farmer’s Market
MyChelle prides itself on being a clean, conscious and comprehensive skin care company, which is why they have so many beauty product fans. If you are looking for natural sun care products that are free from toxins, you’ll have to check out their Sun Shield Clear Stick SPF 50, their Sun Shield Clear Spray SPF 30 and their Cucumber Cooler Soothing Spray.
FATCO is a brand that I was unfamiliar with going into this week. Their hand made skincare products feed your skin with ingredients it needs to thrive, like Tallow (aka fat) from grass-fed beef cows, essential oils and magnesium oil. Their line includes natural deodorant for men and women, baby moisturizer and body butter.
Solves Strips is also a brand that was unfamiliar to me prior to this event. They offer pediatric electrolyte strips that melt away in your mouth. They are loaded with sodium and potassium that helps restore your child’s electrolyte levels to prevent dehydration.
These organic Smart Crackers are so good that you can’t even tell they’re loaded with healthy stuff. They are geared towards kids, but I have been sneaking them by the handful all week. In fact, my husband and I finished off a box of the Sweet Potato Cinna-Grahams while watching a movie this weekend. They’re that good.
One of my biggest struggles when looking for a good protein powder is finding one that isn’t loaded with sugar. The Healthy Skoop brand of vanilla protein powder only contains about three grams of sugar per serving and has a really nice flavor to it. It’s good mixed with your favorite dairy or non-dairy milk or added to your favorite smoothie recipe.
DeVita Skincare offers a collection of 100% vegan, natural skincare products that are paraben free. I’ve been using their revitalizing eye life creme all week and I’m loving it. It doesn’t have a harsh smell to irritate my allergies and doesn’t burn my eyes. This eye cream layers well under make-up, is feather light and is loaded with vitamins and amino acids.
When I became a mom, my hormones went crazy – and by crazy I mean that my facial hair grew in darker (eww, I know). Thank goodness for wax, though, right? I usually go in to get my brows and lip done which ends up being about $22 each visit. The Parissa wax strips for your face and bikini area are the perfect must-have for the upcoming summer season and are a money saver!
Where to Buy: In Canada: Shoppers Drugmart, Pharmasave, Rexall Superstore and Walmart
In the US: Fred Meyer, Harmon, Ulta, Whole Foods, and select Walgreens locations

Where to Buy: Natural Food Stores, and natural sections of most major retailers
eureka! Organic Bread offers a variety of certified USDA organic breads that contain no high fructose corn syrup, no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives, are made with sustainable packaging and are certified vegan.
Some of their flavors include:
Grainiac Seeds the Day Saaa-Wheat Smoooooth Wheat Top Seed and Sweet Baby Grains
Where to Buy: Visit www.eurekabread.com to find a retailer near you. (My local Target carries it)
Are any moms out there guilty of sneaking healthy ingredients into not-so-healthy foods? The Apricot Power Superfood Mix is the perfect nutritional add-in to brownies, cakes, smoothies – you name it! It’s basically just a bunch of healthy foods ground up into a powder to make it easier for you to squeeze them into your daily diet.
Stevia is a 100% natural sugar substitute that is free from Sucralose, aspartame, dextrose, saccharine, maltodextrin and insulin and is great for cooking or adding to your favorite foods or drinks. Greeniche’s individual Stevia sachets are perfect for adding a little sweetness to your coffee or tea and are great to take on-the-go.
I understand that these events can be a little overwhelming, especially when I drop all of this information on you at once. If you have any questions or would like any tips from me, feel free to leave me a comment below. I will respond as soon as I receive them.
