My Refurbished Bar Credenza | The Plan

If you follow me on my cash back offers on Dubli.com as often as I can.

Bar Credenza

The Plan

I figured I should at least have a plan for this bar credenza, even if I don’t actually execute that plan for a few weeks (or months).  The commitment is hard for me because my plan involves paint and my fear is that I won’t like the finished product. I also would like to keep as much of the natural wood look as possible, so the paint that I use has to go nicely with the wood.

Bar Credenza Project

In keeping with the color scheme that I have going on with my other home decor and furniture, I plan to use brass/gold tones, shades of teal and blue, with touches of black/bronze.  I put together a little moodboard to give you a better idea of where my head is at with this piece.

Supplies

Target is always my go-to store for home decor and furniture items.  Their Opalhouse, Heart & Hand, Project 62, and Threshold lines are so trendy and affordable, so I feel like you really can’t go wrong when shopping their site (or in-store).  The reason I usually shop online is because I can take advantage of every discount possible using Dubli, my RedCard, Cartwheel and Target’s special promotions that they occasionally have going on.

Bar Credenza Project

Here are some of the supplies that I have already purchased for this bar credenza and a break down of the prices so you can see why Dubli is a no brainer for saving money and getting cash back.

  1. 1.5″ Loop Knob – Hearth & Hand™ with Magnolia (2): $2.99
  2. Spectrum Ashley Steel 4 Bottle Stacking Wine Rack – Black (2): $15.99
  3. Interior Paint Weekend – Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines (8 oz): $8
  4. Round Knob Brass 4pk – Hearth & Hand™ with Magnolia (4 pack): $15.99

The total for these items without any discounts is: $61.95.  Shopping through Dubli.com, you save up to 1% in cash back, using your RedCard you save an additional 5%, plus get free 2-day shipping.  That means to total would end up getting almost $4 off the original total. Not to mention, Target is always running 25% off home item discounts, so that’s so much more money saved.

There isn’t really a “process” involved with Dubli.  You simply click on a link and the cash back after your purchases will be credited to your account.
