The 70’s called and announced their citron comeback!
Citron is such a popular color this spring and summer and I’m seeing it both in home decor and fashion trends. Can you get on board with this color trend?
Did you know? The citron (Citrus medica) is a large fragrant citrus fruit with a thick rind. It is one of the original citrus fruits from which all other citrus types developed through natural hybrid speciation or artificial hybridization.
As you can see, the color of the citron fruit is a darker yellow, but in fashion and decor I feel like it varies from a lemon yellow to chartreuse or even a marigold color. I know that yellow doesn’t particularly look good with my skin tone, but I can get on board with citron accessories. And I actually really like pops of yellow around the house.

I think the citron is a lot of fun.

I think the color will look great on some decor. I think it depends on how it’s used.
I guess it depends on what you are using this color on/in. Personally I am not a fan but that is just me.
