I love foods that incorporate two kinds of taste, such as salted caramel with its sweet and savory flavors. With the awesome honey blends by Henry’s Humdingers you get the sweet taste of raw honey mixed with some terrific spices! If you like spicy foods, you will love Henry’s Humdingers!!
At the age of 11, Henry Miller started working with beehives to save the bees, and selling the raw honey those hives produced to give back to bee preservation and his family’s farm. Soon after that, he started adding spices to his honey and producing Henry’s Humdingers. You may have even seen him presenting his product on the TV show “Shark Tank.”
When opening up the honey jars, you will see that Henry’s Humdingers are packed with spices! They are thick, gooey and delicious! As the spices are lighter than the honey, mixing is required to evenly disperse the spices. My favorite so far has been the “Naughty Nana” with Spicy Pepper and Ginger. We did some sampling during dinner one night and everyone definitely said they were spicy, with “Diabolical Dad” being picked as the hottest!
As a quick snack, I love cream cheese on crackers topped with Henry’s Humdingers honey. It’s a great blend of sweet, spicy and savory, and perfect for holiday appetizers! Your guests will love it!
Besides appetizers, there are oodles of recipes on the Henry’s Humdingers website. I can’t wait to try some of the chicken and shrimp recipes, but I loved that most of the recipes on the website are simple and include ingredients that you probably have in your kitchen already. This Spunky Shrimp recipe sounds amazing!
