Baby Products You’ll Go GaGa For

We’ve been testing out various baby products for a few months now and are extremely excited to share our latest favorites with you.  Some of these brands may look or sound familiar to you but hopefully we will be introducing you to some unfamiliar brands and help you form a lifelong relationship with some of them.

Safe & Sound Pan & Tilt Full-Color Video Monitor (VM333) by VTech
Before you add just any baby monitor to your registry, explore the possibilities of this little beauty from VTech.  We’ve tested quite a few baby monitors and this one is our favorite thus far.
The camera pans side-to-side and tilts up and down so you can properly monitor your little one moving around. With two infrared LEDs it has automatic night vision and can zoom up to 2x for more detail. It even works up to 1,000 ft., so you can feel free to move about as well.  Not only is this baby monitor great for your baby in the crib, it’s coming in really handy for my two-year old now that she’s in her “big girl bed.”  I’m especially liking the temperature monitor and the talk back function.

The Zen Swaddle by Nested Bean
If you’re a new mom then you understand how precious a solid night’s sleep is for you and your baby.  The folks at Nested Bean have created the Zen Swaddle that is said to mimic mom’s touch to make your baby feel more comfortable and secure.  There are weighted sections of this swaddling blanket on the sides and in the middle to mimic the feeling of the baby being in your arms.  This is such an innovative product that I wish I had two years ago!  Made with 100% soft, luxurious cotton.  Washer and dryer safe.
Teething Chewies by ARK Therapeutic
ARK Therapeutic is a leading designer/manufacturer of speech, feeding, sensory, and fine motor tools.  The owner Debbie Lowsky has been a speech therapist for over 35 years.  Her husband John is an engineer, and so 13 years ago they partnered to create therapy tools that she needed, but didn’t exist at the time. Today ARK makes a full line of tools to encourage developmental skills in children of all ages and abilities.
My daughter is just now getting her two-year molars and the Y-Chews and Tri-Chews are so helpful.  I was sick of her gnawing on her fingers so I tossed her an ARK Therapeutic Y-Chew.  I like that they don’t look “babyish” and that toddlers can use them, too.
West Meets East Gift Set by Little World Peas
Looking for the perfect gender-neutral baby shower gift?  Head over to the Little World Peas website and check out our favorite layette gift sets.  This 5-piece set is made with soft, 100% organic cotton, eco non-toxic dyes and features LWP’s no-seam design.
This set comes with:
one kimono, one bib, one pair of pull-on pants, one long-sleeved onesie and one gown.
Handmade Wash Clothes by Precious Little Tot Boutique
Designer fabrics, soft terry cloth, made to order – it doesn’t get much better than that!  These little wash clothes would make the perfect addition to your baby shower gift basket.  They are so soft and luxurious that I just might have to snag one for myself.
Cush ‘n Go Stroller Liner by Baby BeeHaven
I’ve been using the little umbrella stroller from Babies ‘R Us lately and I couldn’t help but notice how uncomfortable my daughter always looks in it.  There’s really not much to the little stroller which is why I added a pop of color and comfort with the Baby BeeHaven Cush ‘n Go.  This reversible memory foam pad fits just about any stroller and is machine washable (yay!).  The memory foam pad supports your little one’s head, neck and back and is approved by medical professionals.  Give the gift of comfort and add it to your baby shower shopping list.
Hand Made Onsies by Mason J.A.R. Apparel
They had me a hand made.  I’m a sucker for a sweet hand made baby product and I love supporting fellow MOMtrepreneurs.  Jessica Russel, the owner and designer of these adorable onesies puts her heart and soul into each piece she makes and it truly shows from the quality of the products down to the packaging.  This clothing line was inspired by her son Mason.  Each design comes in many different colors and sizes for just about every baby.
Nursing Blanket by Me Beau Bébé
Nursing blankets have come a long way in the last two years.  Aside from the trendy prints we are seeing, we are loving the unique design from Me Beau Bébé.  These nursing blankets feature a handy peek-a-boo window so you can check on your little one while nursing.  You can also Velcro the peek-a-boo window shut for privacy.  Feel free to toss this little beauty over the infant seat for privacy while on walks or lay it on the ground while your baby plays.  Visit their website to view the many patterns they have to offer.
Unique Baby Gifts from Ulubulu
You’ve probably seen some of Ulubulu’s products in your local children’s boutiques.  They are the makers of the unique and safe baby products from pacifiers with funny sayings to silicone baby bibs and beyond.  Tired of your little one dropping their paci?  Attach it to an Ulubulu universal pacifier clip and say buh-bye to floor germs.  All of their products would be adorable in a baby shower gift basket (hint, hint).

  1. Jessica's (Mason JAR) prints rock! I bought two of her t-shirts for my daughter and had she not outgrown them, she would still be wearing them. The quality is outstanding and the designs one of a kind!

  2. The West Meets East Gift Set by Little World Peas really caught my attention. That is a perfect gift for my friend! I just love the way it looks like and the design is just simple but adorable. And also the Unique Baby Gifts from Ulubulu, it will really suit for my toddler. Great!

  3. You have great baby products there. I would also recommend that you try out silicone bibs. They are really cool, it has a catch pocket on the front. Since it's waterproof the clean up time is faster and so I still have plenty of time to bond with the kids.
