Moringa Source

Many of you probably drink, or at least have heard of, green tea and it’s rumored health benefits.  I personally can’t drink green tea because it contains caffeine.  And caffeine and my body just don’t mix.  On a hunt for a different type of “healthy” tea one day, I discovered Moringa Oleifera through a company called, Moringa Source.

Moringa Oleifera has been a known beneficial supplement in Asia and Africa for a very long time.  There is even documented evidence that Moringa Oil was placed in Eqyptian tombs.  The Moringa Tree has been called The Tree of Life in many cultures.

What are the benefits of Moringa Oleifera?  Here are a few of the benefits that I found from the Moringa Source website:

  • It gives you increased physical energy without using caffeine
  • It can balance you mentally & emotionally
  • It’s a perfect recovery food after a tough workout because of it’s complete amino profile and vitamins and minerals.  Moringa contains 30% protein!  That is amazing!
  • Nutrient-dense Mother’s Milk if you are breastfeeding: it has increased iron, potassium, Vitamins A, B, C, E, and dozens of other important nutrients which are all readily absorbed from Moringa oleifera and transferred from mother’s milk to the growing baby.
  • It’s helps maintain healthier blood sugar levels with antioxidants and unique regulating compounds that help control blood sugar and keep the blood free of unhealthy substances.
Moringa Oleifera was featured on Dr. Oz’s show.  He explained that you get the energy you need from caffeine without the crash that caffeine may give you.  He also talked about Moringa Oleifera having 3 times more iron than spinach!

Moringa Oleifera comes in many different forms.

I was able to sample the Moringa Tea, Moringa Capsules & the Moringa Oil from Moringa Source’s website www.moringasource.com.

When I first opened the package of tea bags I immediately took a whiff to see what it smelled like.  I was expecting a “leafy” smell but the Moringa Tea smelled more like grass.  I know you’re probably thinking, “Ew…I don’t want to drink something that smells like grass!”  But let me tell you, it tastes NOTHING like grass!  I brewed a cup of hot water and seeped my Moringa Tea bag for a couple of minutes.  I smelled the tea and it smelled a little like green tea.  Once I tasted it I was pleasantly surprised.  It has a FANTASTIC taste.  I didn’t even need to add sugar or honey to it.  I was so amazed
that I could like a tea without adding sweeteners.

The Moringa Capsules are super easy to swallow.  They contain 100% Moringa Leaf powder.

The capsules don’t contain any additives, fillers or flow agents.  Moringa capsules provide an easily digestible abundance of nutrition, that is safe for the entire family to consume.  Another huge plus is that I didn’t get any weird tasting burps from them.  I was so worried about this.

The Moringa Oil is great for skin & hair rejuvenation, relaxation, emotional well being and energy rejuvenation.  You can use it as a massage oil, add it to a spray bottle for a light myst all over your skin or hair, or even mix it with your favorite lotion.
