When I think of Easter candy, PEEPS® Brand is the first that comes to mind. I’ve been eating those sugar-coated yellow marshmallow chicks since I was a kid and they haven’t changed a bit. The brand has only gotten better and actually carries so many more gooey goodies for your kids’ Easter baskets (and for your guilty pleasure).

Each Easter, I try to put together a themed Easter basket to {hopefully} inspire you all. I typically do non-candy baskets, or just a little bit of candy but this year, we’re going with pretty much all candy. The candy chosen for this year’s basket and Easter decorations is from PEEPS®, Mike and Ike Easter Treats, Mike and Ike Jelly Beans and Hot Tamales Jelly Beans. After sacrificing my whole day to test out each PEEPS® product (such a hard day, I know), I’d have to say that my absolutely favorite is the Dark Chocolate Covered Marshmallow Chicks. They’re like a s’more without the graham cracker and are just amazing. My girls and husband have been devouring the Party Cake and Sour Watermelon flavored PEEPS®, which are pretty good, too.

Of course, I couldn’t just stop with an Easter basket. With all of these Easter goodies at my disposal, I thought it would be fun to make some decorations and party favors. Check out some cute and easy DIY ideas below.

Mike and Ike Jelly Bean Centerpiece

For this easy jelly bean centerpiece, you’ll need two vases or one vase and a cup. You start by placing the smaller vase (or cup) in the middle of the larger vase. Then, you fill the gap between the two vases with jelly beans. Finish it off with the flowers of your choice and some water in the smaller vase, and you’re done!

PEEPS®-on-a-Stick Flower Pots with Chalk Pens Decor

These cute flower pots are great for place settings and can be sent home with your party guests as party favors.

You’ll need a few different materials for this easy project:

· Assorted PEEPS® Brand Marshmallow Bunnies or Chicks

· Wooden kabob sticks, lollipop sticks or caramel apple sticks (preferably with a point end)

· Floral foam large enough to fit into the bottom of each flower pot ( I used foam balls)

· Floral moss, Easter grass or any other filler

· Twine or ribbon

· Chalkola Chalkboard labels

· 6mm Chalkola Chalk markers (use code CHALK20A to get 20% off on Amazon.com)

· Small clay flower pots

Start by placing your floral foam into the bottom of each flower pot.
Place your chalkboard label onto the front of each flower pot.
Fill each pot with the floral filler of your choice – I used this dried green grass. Because the pots I used were heavy, I didn’t need to add rock to the bottom, but if you use lightweight pots, you might want to place gravel below the foam.
PEEPS® Kabobs – Slide your PEEPS® Marshmallows onto your wooden dowels alternating colors. Stick each PEEPS® dowel into your floral foam as you finish them.
Finish with twine or ribbon and the chalk design of your choice.
