My Farmhouse Pendant Lights

Bronze and brass are super trendy right now, but I wanted a finish that was going to last for a while.  I feel like if I chose to go with a brass or gold finish, I would’ve had to switch out all of my cabinet hardware and maybe even the faucet to a similar color.  I chose to go with a brushed nickel finish for my farmhouse pendant lights and I could not be happier with how they look with my kitchen.

The two lights I added over my bar area have a round cage around them, which I feel like is such a modern farmhouse look.  I went with a clear round glass pendant shade for the light above my kitchen sink (which is a little difficult to see in my pictures).  After installing my lights, I waited a couple of days and then adjusted the cord once more after they relaxed.  I added some vintage looking Edison bulbs which not only are a bit easier on the eyes, but they look beautiful, too.

My home style is a bit eclectic and is a mixture of modern farmhouse and California beachy.  I love to decorate raw natural textures and greenery like succulents, cacti, and whichever flowers are in season nearby.  When choosing my farmhouse pendant lights, I went with more of a modern farmhouse look, rather than the rustic farmhouse look, but I was so tempted to go the rustic route because of all of the cute options Worth Home Products has.
