We’re Dodging Morning Meltdowns Thanks to SoCozy Kids Products

Dodging Meltdowns

“I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Influence Central for SoCozy. I received Target gift cards to facilitate my review and thank me for my participation.”

Being a parent can be a challenge sometimes.  When I step back and look at the big picture of parenthood, it’s overwhelming.  I am responsible for teaching a human being how to become self sufficient, honest, thoughtful, etc..  Sometimes I feel like I can barely take care of myself, let alone two little humans, but the best I can do is take it day by day and tackle each obstacle head-on with the help of my husband.
I often find myself complaining about things like whining kids, not being able to carry on a phone conversation without being interrupted with little demands, not being able to use the restroom alone and not being able to sit down and enjoy a hot meal.  In the moment, these are overwhelming stresses but you know what?  I have everything I’ve ever wanted.
I wanted to be a stay-at-home-mom.  I wanted to have my children.  I knew what I was getting in to.  So why do I complain?
Lately, I’ve been learning to deal with life’s little obstacles better and have learned that there are usually simple solutions to everyday problems that, when added up, can create big headaches.  I’m sure you’re wondering where I’m going with this, right?
A lot of parents struggle to get their kids to bath and get ready each day.  My daughter is usually excited to take a bath or shower.  She loves to brush her teeth, pick out her clothes and shoes and even clean her room.  She does, however, hate when I brush her hair because it hurts.
[Insert meltdown]

On a mission to find hair products to make our mornings a little easier, we discovered SoCozy at our local Target.  Created by Cozy Friedman, SoCozy products are so smart, so safe, so easy and so cool.

SoCozy serves as an extensive resource for moms, kids, stylists and salon owners.  Their products are safe and effective  – and completely non-toxic.  They make simple, fun multi-functional products that help streamline bath time, as well as target specific hair concerns like tangles or lice.  SoCozy makes it a mission to build confidence and inspire originality for any kid.

My three-year old doesn’t want to use baby sissy’s hair products because they’re for “babies”.  She is a “big girl” and wants to use big girl products.  Can anyone else relate to this dilemma?  The SoCozy salon-quality hair collection targets the kids that have outgrown the baby stage and helps them to feel independent.

We purchased the 2in1 Shampoo and Wash and the Detangling Spray to give SoCozy a try.  The products smell amazing and seriously help our mornings go so much smoother.  Charlotte enjoys using her new products and thanks to the Detangling Spray, I don’t to battle with her over brushing her hair.  She has three years-worth of hair to brush and it is usually so tangled after a bath. A detangling spray has become a staple in our house and is one way I have learned to dodge a meltdown.
