Everyone loves a good As Seen on TV product once in a while, especially the kiddos.  Those commercials seem to just suck us in, don’t they?  Today we’re putting three As Seen on TV products to the test to see if they’re worth purchasing.  Check out our demo videos and read our thoughts on each product below.

Ball Pets

 The NapTime Reviewer’s Thoughts: I actually think the Ball Pets are pretty cute.  They are much better quality than I anticipated and the ball-to-pet transformation is a seamless process.  These toys aren’t too big and bulky so they won’t take up a lot of storage space in the car or around the house which is a huge plus.  I do, however, feel like the Ball Pets would be better priced at about $15 + shipping handling to attract bargain shoppers like me.  You can choose from lots of different characters based on your child’s preferences which makes the ordering process a little more fun.

The NapTime Reviewer’s Thoughts:  After much practice, I finally feel like I nailed the illusion of the Phantom Saucer.  The invisible strings that come with the Phantom Saucer are very delicate and can break easily so be very careful.  I feel like $10 plus the $5.99 shipping and handling is a bit steep considering this product is made of cardboard.  It’s definitely not a toy for younger kids but kids ages 10+ might really enjoy it.

Teddy Tanks
Description:  Teddy Tanks are a stuffed animal with a clear tank belly. The tank can be used as a fish tank (for a Betta Fish) or as a storage container for almost anything! It’s two types of fun in one!  Purchase a Teddy Tank for $19.99 + $7.99 shipping and handling.
The NapTime Reviewer’s Thoughts:  I feel that this product is accurately priced for what you get.  The Teddy Tank is really cute and makes a great piggy bank or candy storage container.  The bowl is made of a durable plastic and the stuffed animal is nice quality.  My daughter loves putting the money in her Lion’s mouth and I love the little recording button in the ear.  Teddy Tank comes in so many different styles and would make a great birthday or Christmas gift.
Tip:  If you decide to use the Teddy Tank for a Betta fish, I suggest you don’t put the food in the mouth of the Teddy Tank.  Our Betta fish’s food smells like fish and would really stink up the Teddy Tank plush toy.

  1. I have purchased As Seen On TV products…actually a few of them! First one was a recoil hose…second was a windshield cleaner, (which I love!) and third was a hair removal system that works really well!

  7. Yes,I purchased The Magic Mesh and loved it.I was surprised that it actually worked,helped keep the unwanted insects out of my house and let the air in.
