Current Mood – Lil' Butters Series 01 Collectibles

Lil’ Butters by Snaptoys are a new collector series of toys that recently hit the toy market.  It’s a world of social butterflies that have their own individual personalities that are designed to empower tweens.  Each butterfly features themed wings, a sassy facial expressions and colorful details.

Lil’ Butters are solid 4″ figures that are designed for girls ages 7-14.  Since there aren’t any loose pieces and they don’t seem to pose a choking hazard, I would say they are even great for preschoolers.

Series 01 contains 6 collectible butterflies with the following personalities and names:

  1. Love Stinks – Love is for fairytales!
  2. Sweet Beats – Dance like no one’s watching!
  3. Superhero – Be your own hero!
  4. Whatever – I’m sorry.  Did I roll my eyes out loud?
  5. Mellow Bliss – Think Peace.  Think Love.  Think Harmony.
  6. Lovey Dovey – Love is… YOU!
As you can see, each butterfly’s personality is obviously meant more for older girls, but preschoolers just see the colors and details.  They are about as useful as Shopkins, My Little Pony and everything else my daughter collects.  But kids LOVE them!
