As a parent, preparing my children for school is a top priority. My little Kendall is three and started preschool this year, and while I have no doubt that she’s going to get a great education at the school she’s at, since she only attends two days a week, I feel like I need to be supplementing with other fun educational lessons.

As a writer, I can only hope that my children develop a love for words and vocabulary. I feel like Mrs. Wordsmith makes learning words fun in a way that children are excited for the second they receive their package in the mail. The packages are brightly colors, which, believe it or not, makes a huge difference in the excitement levels for my kids. In fact, I sort of have a thing for cute brightly colored packaging, so I even get excited when Mrs. Wordsmith packages arrive.
Monthly Boxes

I have also been getting a text message each day which includes my word of the day reminder. The stand for the word of the day papers is super cute, and we can easily display it in a place that the entire family can see. First Impressions
As I stated above, from the second our colorful boxes arrived, my girls were excited to be learning new words. My little Kendall loves to act like big sissy, so anything school-related gets her so excited. Since there is just one word per day, I feel like this is a program that we can handle and doesn’t require too much commitment on our end. They couldn’t have designed a better program for 2-4 year olds, and I’m so excited to see how Kendall’s vocabulary progresses over the course of a year.
