After experimenting with all three lines of suncare products from Soleil Toujours for a week or so, I have a couple of favorites. First, I’m loving the 100% mineral children’s SPF 45 spray ($36) for a few reasons. This product is super convenient because it comes in a spray. The product smells sweet and rubs in so easily. This is so important when applying sunscreen to kids. It seems that I only get a two minute window to cover my daughter in sunscreen before we hit the beach so this product is perfect. As with any sunscreen, Soleil Toujours recommends that this product be applied every two hours or after swimming, sweating or towel drying. This product is vegan, hypoallergenic and gluten free.
For myself, I’m absolutely loving the Soleil Du Midi Mineral Based Sunscreen Mist SPF 30 ($36). This product feels so silky smooth, smells like oranges and doesn’t cause my skin to break out. The star ingredients in this product are Zinc Oxide, EcoSun Complex®, Organic Green Tea Leaf Extract, Organic Aloe Vera Leaf Juice and Organic Sunflower Oil so you can feel good about putting this SPF on your skin. Not only does it protect your skin from the harmful rays of the sun, it also helps nourish dry skin. This product is vegan, gluten free and hypoallergenic.
After a long day in the sun, you can relax with this ultra luxe Exotic Shimmer Body Oil ($56) from the Soleil Luxe line. This product contains ingredients like Rosehip Seed Oil, Argan Oil, Green Tea Leaf Extract, Pomegranite Seed Oil, and Rosemary Leaf Extract to help sooth your skin after sun exposure. These products work to help relieve the itching and burning that often comes from sun burns and leaves a little bronze shimmer behind to give your skin a luxe look.
It’s important to me to provide my family with the proper sun care protection but I often struggle with finding products that aren’t harmful. Being pregnant, it’s more important to me than ever to use mineral-based products that are safe for my baby and me and the entire collection of Soleil Toujours products fit the bill.
