Every year when Spring arrives I want to completely redo my home in cheery, Springy colors and patterns.  Obviously it’s not practical to change out everything in your home, but with the help of Spring D.I.Y. projects.

Chalkola Products I Love

I’m currently loving the 6mm chalk markers, the 15mm chalk markers and the sticky chalkboard labels from Chalkola.  You can find all of these products on Amazon.com.  Just search for Chalkola or use the links in this post to find them.

Easy Spring Home Updates with Chalkola Products

Fresh Flowers!

Spring is a time when flowers are blooming.  If you have fresh flowers in your yard, grab some scissors and create a fresh bouquet for your dining table, kitchen counter, bathroom, etc.  If you don’t have fresh flowers in your yard, head down to your local grocery store or florist and pick up an inexpensive bouquet.  Remember, we don’t need to go BIG with our bouquet.  We’re just adding a little touch of spring and color to our home.

A fun way to show off your blooms are with a mason jar or clay pot labeled with a chalkboard label.  You can write fun Springy phrases on these labels or use them as place setting for a Spring party.

Update your food storage containers!

I love to keep labels on my food storage containers since they aren’t clear.  I keep my brown sugar, my tea bags and my oatmeal packets in metal tins on my counter and I change the label colors with each season or holiday.

Update your chalk board!

I found the cutest hanging chalkboards at my local Target in the dollar aisle.  I use them for parties and for everyday messages.  The Chalkola chalk markers are so much prettier than the white chalk I was using and I’m able to get really creative with the colors.

Easter Projects!

In case you missed my DIY Easter party post, you can check it out on The Bucket List Mom.  I made homemade PEEP kabobs and used clay pots with chalkboard labels to display them.  These pots doubled as place setting markers and party favors.

As you can see, I’ve been having a lot of fun with my Chalkola products.  I can’t wait to come up with some more fun DIY ideas to share with you all.
