Vtech is aiming to empower girls to dream big through their brand new toy line, Flipsies.  Each Flipsie has her own unique personality and can transform to her dream career by simply swapping out her accessories and hairdo.  Little girls can let their imaginations run wild with the endless possibilities that having multiple Flipsies provides.

Each Flipsies playset comes with MagicPoint interactive locations that trigger the dolls’ sayings.  You can also mix and match Flipsies with other Flipsies playsets to unlock even more fun or have your dolls communicate with the unique MagicChat technology.

  My daughter, Charlotte, is absolutely in love with her new dolls.  The video says it all.  She states that Flipsies are “beautiful, fabulous and so cute!”  She has no problem swapping out the dolls’ wigs or outfits and enjoys organizing their accessories.  I’ve been listening to her playing by herself in her playroom and interacting with the Flipsies dolls.  She’s really into imaginative play right now so it’s so much fun to hear how she portrays these characters.
As she states in the video, Charlotte’s favorite Flipsie doll is Carina, the doctor, because “she’s pretty.”  Carina and her doctor’s scale retail for $9.99 and comes with two wigs, two outfits and other doctor accessories.
The larger playset that we’re playing with in the video is Styla’s Salon and Fashion Boutique.  This set retails for around $20 on on Amazon.  Styla’s actual career is a hairstylist but she dreams of becoming a fashion designer.  With this playset, Styla can sell her designs in her own fashion boutique and chit chat with friends.  This set comes with 13 accessories, two wigs and clothes.
To get the dolls to talk, you simply push the gem on their necklace and they begin talking.  If they are on a MagicPoint location they will speak about whichever playset they are on, which is my favorite feature.  If you place Carina, the doctor, on Styla’s stylist chair, she talks about beauty.  But place her back on her doctor’s scale and she’s back into doctor mode.
Flipsies are so reasonably prices and well-made and are sure to be a hot holiday wish list item this year.  The introductory product collection features 18 offerings, ranging from $9.99- $39.99 You can get a head start on your shopping and find them on Vtechkids.com or Amazon.com.
Flipsies are designed for kids ages four and up and come with lots of smaller accessories.  Keep out of reach of younger children.
