Nature’s Gate Kids Vegan Sunscreen Review PLUS Other Great Natural Kids Products

Would you consider yourself an eco-conscious consumer?

I received free product samples to facilitate my review.  Any opinion expressed in this article is based on my experience with the brand/products and is not influenced by compensation.
Nature’s Gate is a brand that is inspired by the eco-conscious consumer.  That’s you!  Their products offer a unique combination of natural, safe and innovative ingredients that deliver effective results for your family’s everyday beauty regimen.  As a parent, that’s exactly what I look for when shopping for products for my kids.

My girls and I have recently tested out some of the vegan sunscreen for kids, a kids toothpaste and the Nature Baby shampoo and body wash from Nature’s Gate.  The products are fantastic and come in larger sized containers so they last a lot longer than some other products on the market.
Here’s an overview of the products we love from Nature’s Gate:
Kids will love brushing their teeth with Nature’s Gate Cherry Flavored Toothpaste! Formulated to gently clean and polish even the tiniest teeth. Start those healthy traditions today. ($6.09)

This toothpaste not only tastes great but actually gets my four-year old to BRUSH her teeth!  Although, I’m pretty sure most of the toothpaste ends up on the counter and sink than it does on her toothbrush.

Nature’s Gate Baby Shampoo & Wash gently cleanses delicate baby hair and skin with a caring blend of Calendula, Chamomile and Orange flower blossom. ($8.39)

This is a great baby soap for little ones with itchy, dry skin.  I love that it contains Calendula, which is super soothing on the skin.

Nature’s Gate Kids Broad Spectrum SPF 50 Sunscreen  – A trusted alternative for sun protection, Nature’s Gate Sun Care is safe and gentle for the entire family. Infused with natural botanicals, Nature’s Gate Sunscreens are formulated with responsible and effective ingredients that help protect skin against UV exposure while soothing and hydrating skin. Water resistant (40 minutes). ($11.49)

We really like this sunscreen for the kids, mostly because it’s SPF 50.  It takes a little bit of rubbing to get it to really blend in and for that reason, I suggest starting with a small amount.  I really like that my kids don’t cry if it gets in their eyes.

A trusted alternative for sun protection, Nature’s Gate Sun Care is safe and gentle for the entire family. Infused with natural botanicals, Nature’s Gate Sunscreens are formulated with responsible and effective ingredients that help protect skin against UV exposure while soothing and hydrating skin. Water resistant (40 minutes).

This sunscreen has a very mild scent, almost like black pepper (in a good way).  Start with a small amount at first because applying too much will leave your kids with super white skin.  It’s a tiny bit on the greasy side, but not slippery when it touches water.

Nature’s Gate products are primarily sold at Whole Foods and stores like Sprouts.  I was able to find some of the adult products at our local Sprouts, down the skincare aisles.  You can use the store locator to find a Nature’s Gate retailer near you.
