While the description says effortless, if you have layers or lots of little flyaways, you’ll need a little help with this product. Every time I try to make a “perfect” bun, it ends up turning into more of a messy bun. I like that look, though, so I usually just roll with it. If you have long straight hair, the Sophist-o-twist will create that perfect ballerina bun that you’re after. Otherwise, try using some hairspray and bobby pins.
