Nescafe Dolce Gusto Genio Coffee Machine Review
Every mom deserves a little me time now and then. While everyone’s idea of me time may vary, most of us will accept something as small as enjoying a cup of coffee without interruptions as me time. I love to wake up before my daughter, turn on the news, open up the windows to let the cool fall air come in and sit and enjoy a good cup of coffee in the mornings. While I’d much rather buy that $4.25 Pumpkin Spiced Latte from the coffee shop down the road, that just can’t happen everyday. My solution to my problem of wanting gourmet coffee at half the price (without having to leave the house) is the new Nescafe Dolce Gusto Genio coffee machine ($129.99).

What makes the Nescafe Dolce Gusto Genio machine different than other single brew coffee machines out there?
This is by far the quickest single brew coffee machine I’ve ever used. The statement about the coffee machine being able to brew a cup of coffee in less than a minute is absolutely true. Also, the custom scroll wheel and flow stop capabilities allow you to craft a perfectly customized cup of coffee, just like your favorite coffee house.
This coffee machine is designed with a 15-bar pressure system which is comparable to those used in professional coffee shops. The professional-caliber pressure works by very quickly and evenly distributing water over the coffee grounds which results in a bolder, more flavorful coffee and even that delicious crema.
The 21oz water reservoir makes about three full cups of coffee which, in my opinion, is perfect. I’m not a fan of having a ton of water sit on my counter at one time. I prefer to have fresher water with each cup of coffee.
What truly makes this coffee machine ideal for every household is the smaller size.
