VO5 Celebrates 60 Years!
I received one or more sample products mentioned above from Alberto VO5. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
So many lines of hair products have come and gone, but one name is still well known – Alberto VO5! As a child I remember seeing VO5 commercials, and in our teen years my friends and I frequently used the tubes of Alberto VO5 Hot Oil Treatment. I’m probably dating myself, but I remember my Dad using VO5 Hairdressing in the tube every day to slick back and style his hair.
Well, Alberto VO5 still carries those great products, plus several new and modern products like Shine, Grow & Go Beauty Oil, VO5 Salon Series hair products, VO5 Essential body washes, and Men’s 3-in-1 shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
With summer just about here, our skin and hair need more moisture than ever. VO5 Clarifying Shampoo and Conditioners take away the oil and grime, and leave your hair soft and shiny. Their fragrance is light and won’t be competing with your perfume or body spray. After being in a chlorinated pool, my color treated hair gets extremely dry, so the VO5 Hot Oil Therapy helps bring back the shine. If you use a blow dryer and flat iron like I do, you will love the Shine, Grow & Go Beauty Oil. I spray it onto my hands and then rub it into the bottom third of my hair before straightening. It adds tons of shine! But, my favorite use for VO5 Shine, Grow & Go is putting it on my skin after bathing. It makes my skin feel really silky, without feeling oily. It’s a great after-sun skin replenisher!
