Silicone Baking Mats and Fridge-to-go Lunchbox from GetBacktoBasix

Parenting Hack: Silicone Baking Mats for Arts and Crafts!

This post is sponsored by Get Back to Basix.  I received product samples to facilitate my review but all thoughts are my own and are not influenced by compensation.
I found a gorgeous table on on the Joss and Main website (for a steal, by the way) but I’m super protective of it.  I’m so scared that it’s going to get marked up with paints, crayons and markers so I make my daughter use a silicone baking mat when doing arts and crafts.  It sounds funny, but using a silicone baking mat as a placemat has turned out to be such a good thing.  When it gets messy, I stick it in the dishwasher and it comes out clean again.  Plus, it’s grippy so her art supplies stay put.

You can find a two-pack of silicone baking mats on Amazon from GetBacktoBasix.com for $9.90.  Not only do you get the large rectangular mat, but you get a smaller round baking mat, as well.  I like to use my round mat as a trivet for hot pans.
When you’re on the Get Back to Basix Amazon page, you’ll find lots of other great products like this Fridge-to-Go insulated lunch box.  What I like most about this lunch box is that the ice pack is very thin and flat.  It freezes overnight and slips into the inside pouch and keeps food cold for up to eight hours (not in direct sunlight).
You can find this lunchbox on Amazon for around $28.  It comes in pink or black.

  1. My son would use this lunch box daily! And, I would most definitely use the mats. I love the idea of the kids doing their arts and crafts on it so as to not ruin the table.

  2. Great giveaway – the baking (or arts & crafts!) mats are great, and we could use the lunch bag as well. Thanks for the opportunity!
